Nitro-Tech formulas are built on a foundation of innovative human research, and there’s no doubt it’s earned the trust of countless consumers worldwide.

Scientific and clinical research shows how much Whey peptides can improve the muscle recovery time in between intense weightlifting sessions, and how much they support an insulinogenic response to improve delivery and absorption of nutrients.

Whey peptides are also among some of the high biological values (BV) protein sources, a value given to protein sources to measure how well they are absorbed and used by the body.

Whey Gold Protein Powder Ingredient Details

Nitro-Tech 100 Whey Gold Protein Powder Supplement FactsOne serving (scoop) of Nitro-Tech 100% Whey Gold weighs exactly 33 grams and totals 120 calories. High quality, micro-filtered protein makes up an impressive 24 of the 33 grams, and sugar and fat make up another 4 grams.

A total of 310 milligrams of calcium, iron, and sodium minerals and 65 milligrams of cholesterol can also be found Nitro-Tech 100% Whey Gold’s formula. The 4 remaining grams consists of natural and artificial flavors, along with a few more fillers for flavor and consistency.

MuscleTech’s Whey Gold protein powder formula consists mostly of hydrolyzed whey peptides, which are actually the most rapidly absorbed protein micro-fractions available.

Micro-filtered Whey protein isolate and micro-filtered Whey protein concentrate combined to deliver an easily digested and absorbed protein source. Nitro-Tech 100% Whey Gold also mixes instantly with a shaker cup and even in a glass of water using a spoon, which is proof of high quality, properly dosed ingredients.

Every scoop of Whey Gold protein powder supplies 5.5 grams of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) and 4 grams of essential amino acids (EAAs) — glutamine and it’s precursor to be specific.

Nitro-Tech Whey Gold Side Effects

After some vigorous research into the hidden secrets of Nitro-Tech Whey Gold side effects, I found two potential problems to keep an eye out for during use.

• Gas and Bloating: Whey protein concentrate is derived from dairy and contains a sugar known as lactose. Individuals who are lactose intolerant cannot digest lactose properly and may experience gas and bloating approximately 1 hour after consuming.

• Nausea: NitroTech protein powders are also known for causing nausea in lactose intolerant individuals. I found that soy, another ingredient included in the formula, also has the potential to deliver nauseating effects.

If you have experience taking dietary supplements, specifically protein powders, you should not run into any issues with Nitro-Tech Whey Gold protein powder either. If you’ve never used a protein supplement, you may want to talk it over with your doctor before you purchase 100% Whey Gold.

If you have any concerns regarding your ability to take Whey Gold safely, I suggest bringing it up to the doctor during your next checkup. Your doctor will never lead you astray.

7 Thoughts to “Nitro-Tech 100% Whey Gold Protein Powder Review”

I have used NitroTech series of Whey protein before. But I prefer Dymatize Iso 100 whey because I have always found that Nitrotech’s range of composition of protein per scoop is below 60% most of the time. I prefer buying protein with isolate or hydrolyzed combination and which offers at least 70% and above of protein per scoop. In this case, Nitro-Tech 100% Whey Gold Protein Powder has a good enough profile, with 72% of protein per scoop of isolate and hydrolysed with 5.5 grams of BCAA, and it meets my kind of choice. I guess I should give a try with this one next time. Thanks for the great review.

Thanks for the detailed review. My sons are at the age where they like to use protein to build muscle. Some of the brands they complained about it not mixing well and you still tasting the powder. Do you know if it is like that? What are the other flavors besides the chocolate?

    1. Dalton Dorsey

No, Nitro-Tech protein powders are some of the best protein sources available. Up there with Gold Standard Whey powders, which are extremely popular.

Flavors: Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Vanilla, and Strawberry.

This is a super informed review. I am always on the lookout for new protein powders that improve muscle recovery time. I know you said the flavors are award winning, but is there a particular flavor you like or one that is most popular? Im pretty picky with protein powder flavors, I dont like them to taste chalky.

    1. Dalton Dorsey

With protein powders I always choose chocolate. It still doesn’t taste the best, but I know my taste buds and chocolate is gonna be better tasting than any other available flavor.

Thanks for your review, Dalton. I never taking any of this protein powder before. I will take note about the potential side effect of Nitro Tech 100% Whey Gold protein. I am planning to start build up my body, using dumb bell. I have no idea how to start it, but will refer to some video about it. I plan to combine my training with some supplement, but having worry that the muscle will retract when I stop taking the protein powder.
