Primeval Labs Primalog Appetite Suppressant Review Supplement FactsCalcium (84 mg)

Calcium plays a very important role in regulating appropriate functioning of the body muscles such as muscle relaxation and muscle contraction, and is important for the appropriate functioning of various body enzymes related to the regulation of digestion, metabolism, energy generation also significantly involves calcium.

Chromium (300 mcg)

Chromium is a metallic element that humans require in very small amounts. It is an essential part of metabolic processes that regulate blood sugar, and helps insulin transport glucose into cells, where it can be used for energy. Chromium enhances the actions of insulin and is necessary for maintaining normal metabolism and storage of fats, proteins and carbohydrates.

Gymnema Sylvestre (1000 mg)

Gymnema sylvestre appears to work by suppressing a desire for sugary foods as well as balancing blood sugar levels. The theory claims that when you consume gymnema sylvestre, it consumes your taste bud receptors and prevents glucose from docking in those receptors, thus cutting your craving for sugar and sweets. Similarly, because gymnemic acid is similar to glucose, gymnema sylvestre may also lock into glucose receptors in your intestines, thereby preventing the absorption of sugar molecules even further. This would then lead to balanced blood sugar levels even when you consume sugar-based foods.

Agmatine Sulfate (750 mg)

Agmatine sulfate, also known as guanidine, is a derivative of the amino acid l-arginine. Stored in neurons, this compound is known to assist with central nervous system function, primarily as a neuromodulator and neurotransmitter. Research into agmatine reveals a potential to improve the symptoms related to neuropathic pain, and the ability to assist with the treatment of drug addiction. Agmatine also helps to govern nitric oxide (NO) synthesis, as well as working to properly regulate cellular energy by overseeing polyamine metabolic function.

Bitter Melon Extract 4:1 (500 mg)

Bitter melon extract contains many different phytochemicals such as proteins and steroids. One of the powerful phytochemicals in bitter melon has the ability to inhibit an enzyme called guanylate cyclase. This enzyme may contribute to the growth of psoriasis, leukemia and cancer, so consuming this fruit could reduce your risk of developing several types of cancer. Bitter melon’s function of assisting with weight loss is through lowering and maintaining proper blood sugar levels in your body. According to Hello Life, bitter melon can help prevent your body from absorbing excess sugar.

Banaba Powder (500 mg)

Banaba powder, not to be confused with “banana” leaf, has been used for thousands of years in India and the Philippines to treat both types of diabetes and support low blood sugar levels naturally. In fact as it turns out, the cultures in India and the Philippines were onto something because banaba leaf extract and blood sugar control go hand in hand. Banaba powder contain corosolic acid, a substance being studied for its insulin like effect of lowering the glucose in the body. Banaba is also rich in vitamins and minerals including zinc and magnesium. Banaba is also rich in dietary fibers.

Berberine Hydrochloride (300 mg)

Berberine hydrochloride is one of the few natural sources proven to activate AMPK or adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase. The AMPK enzyme has been shown to act as an “on switch” for increased metabolic function, and a healthy metabolism is crucial for achieving needed energy and optimal body weight. When studying the role of AMPK in the human body, researchers concluded that “Berberine can increase AMPK activity and improve glucose transport in cell lines and animals; this is believed to be the important mechanism by which berberine exerts its beneficial effects.”

Cyanidin-3-O-Glucoside (250 mg)

Cyanidin-3-O-Glucoside (C3G) works to help divert nutrients away from fat cells and into muscle cells. C3G does this by activating the master cell regulator, called AMPK, which in turns signals an enzyme called Lipoprotein lipase (LPL) to deactivate in the fat cells and activate within the muscle cells; which thereby directly impacts adipocytes in a way that causes them to reject the storage of fat from food calories while simultaneously triggering muscle cells to “request” additional nutrients. Simply put, C3G drives the nutrients you get from food, away from the fat cell and redirects them into the muscle cell.

Na-R-Alpha Lipoic Acid (100 mg)

Na-R-alpha-lipoic acid is part of the cellular energy process that contributes to mitochondrial energy creation in cells and also has the ability to neutralize free radicals. Both mitochondrial function and cellular health are associated with the aging process, so it comes as no surprise that poor mitochondria and cellular function are also associated with accelerated aging. Keep that in mind before you decide to use Primeval Labs Primalog. In addition to protecting against aging, lipoic acid also interacts with other antioxidants and vitamins to help protect cells.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (100 mg)

Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is a mitochondrial fatty acid that is highly involved in energy metabolism. It is synthesized in the body and can be consumed through eating meat. It is also minimally present in some fruits and vegetables. In supplement form, it has shown benefit for various forms of oxidation and inflammation. These effects protect against heart diseases, liver diseases, diabetes, and neurological decline associated with aging. ALA is a potent antioxidant compound. It works with mitochondria and the body’s natural antioxidant defenses. ALA is also seen as an antiaging compound since it can reverse some of the oxidant damage related to the effects of aging.

A lot of useful information in just one article is just great. As we take on age we, unfortunately, accumulate belly fate and sometimes you need help besides the exercise.
The Primalog seems to have the right ingredients to work for most of the people.
I should give it a try.

      You won’t regret it!

I haven’t heard of a product that will focus on carbohydrates and this seems quite interesting. Would you say that this could help with a bulking cycle? Since I would be eating more food as a whole anyway, this could help out with better macros?
Also when you mention the amount we should take you typed ‘meal meal’ twice, just letting you know!

    1. Dalton Dorsey

No? You don’t want to use an appetite suppressant if you plan on eating a lot to bulk up.

I have been going to the gym since 4 years. In this time, i saw people using supplements and others non legit things. I never use to get supplements but I know how the body works. Become fat is a matter of carboidrates, not fat. For this reason, I found this supplement very precised and focused on this crucial point, before the gym. Review was helpful and the components were explained very well. Maybe I will not spending that amount for this, because I never did, but I will definitely advise to one of my friends, who are more interested in this. Hope to read you soon and have a good day!

Interesting article. I have not heard of this supplement before. I have always been very skeptical about taking supplements and have dieted in the past by counting carbs, I found by doing that, the sugars and fat will follow. The active ingredients in Primalog give very good descriptions on the benefits of taking this supplement including the banaba powder which help in the control of your blood sugar. My family has a history of diabetes and this is good information to know. Overall good and informative read, but the cost of $50/mth is on the high side so the customer would want to see definite results from taking Primalog.

It is an interesting product and is the first time I’ve heard of it. Two years ago, I decided to lose weight and I achieved to lose 22 pounds, but I had to leave the gym and my habits changed a bit and that made it to acquire 11 pounds, now I want to be in my previous weight.

It’s never too late. Thanks for the comment!

  6. Mat A.

    Hey Dalton,
Enjoyed your review and post on Primevil Primalog appetite suppressant. I personally haven’t used an appetite suppressant for years but this looks like a solid product.
I find my ideal weight is around 192-194. It’s where I feel best and am typically at my strongest. I usually do a fairly good job of maintaining my weight close to that but occasionally I’ve seen it tick up towards the upper 190’s. I can usually modify my diet and weight training to get it back down within 2 weeks.
Question: Do you feel this product would help me lose the 5 pounds faster?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mat. A.

    1. Dalton Dorsey

Yes the Primalog appetite suppressant will help you lose weight fast, but if you only need to lost 5 lbs, using any weight loss supplement would just be overkill.

As noted in your review, it’s recommended not to take caffeine with this supplement. A couple of questions for you. First, I take green-coffee supplements daily. Can I still take green-coffee in the morning and wait a few hours before taking Primalog before my workout? Also, I used to drink regular black coffee before workouts. If I replace black coffee with this supplement, can I still drink black coffee hours earlier or later? In other words, when would be an ideal time to wait (before or after workouts) to drink coffee so it doesn’t have an adverse effect when taking this supplement. Your help is appreciated because sometimes, I’m quite unsure about how certain substances conflict with other substances, especially during pre-work-out phase. Any suggestions on ideal waiting periods before or after workouts would be appreciated. Thank you.

I suggest you drink your coffee when you wake up and then take Primalog when the time comes. I wouldn’t drink coffee with Primalog or after because the stimulus could be to intense. If this is a serious concern for you, I strongly recommend talking it over with your doctor.

I am pretty pumped about this supplement. It looks like you have to take Primalog a lot throughout the day. I am type II diabetic and might benefit from this though.

How does caffeine consumption give people bad health effects with this though? Just curious. I’m a Diet Mountain Dew addict 🙂

    1. Dalton Dorsey

Primalog doesn’t contain caffeine just to clarify. Caffeine is a stimulant and like any stimulant, after the pep, comes the crash. Your body can become dependent on caffeine and the effects it delivers.
