    I am a huge proponent of protein powder and found your product review interesting. As a personal trainer I often recommend to clients to ingest a protein shake after their workout to assist in muscular recovery. This protein powder sounds very nutrient dense and would be worth some additional research.

    This was a very thorough review of whey protein. It was great learning about the different functions of each compound within it. I am allergic to the casein protein in milk and am not sure if that means that I shouldn’t use whey protein. I am going to start drinking smoothies and need a cheap protein source.

My only question. What’s the maximum amount of protein you should take per day?

      1 gram of protein per 2 pounds of body weight is more than enough, as long as your not on your way to competing for the Mr. Olympia. For example, if you weight 150 lbs, shoot for 75 grams of protein per day. 

      Remember, too much protein won’t harm your body. Protein that doesn’t get absorbed will simply be excreted from your body and go to waste. You’d rather have too much than not enough.
